Mail Match

The Mail Match is a competition held every year. Competitors shoot a maximum of 1 round (FITA 1 30 arrows at 18 metres) per week for 8 or 12 weeks. These scores are sent to the Mail Match Chairman who sends out monthly updates of scores and averages. At the end of the 8 or 12 weeks the six best scores for each archer are averaged and medals for FCA and certificates for OAA are awarded in each division and classification.

OAA Mail Match

The OAA Mail Match is an opportunity for new and novice archers to record a weekly score and submit it for comparison against other archers in the province, of whom they may not normally get the opportunity to meet or compete with. By recording a weekly score, the archer gets the opportunity to hone their skills, and record any improvements made along the way. It also allows them to practice for the OAA Championships at the end of February (should they decide to participate), and provides a realistic expectation of the kind of score that may be achieved.

Cost:

$7 for adult (OAA member)

$10 for Adult (Non-member OAA/FCA member)

Rose City Archers will cover the fee for youth.

When:

Beginning January 8, 2017 for 12 weeks

FCA Mail Match

Rose City Archers also provides the opportunity for our Adult archers to participate in the FCA Mail Match, which is very similar to the OAA Mail Match, except you hand in 12 weeks of scores.
